It is important that you uphold your commitment of keeping the minimum grade point and stay free of drugs. The amount of Pell grant is awarded on the basis of the need of the student and the amount of tuition at the school. It also depends on whether it is being offered to a part time or a full time student. It is not a condition to be a full time student as long as you are admitted to a four year degree program. If the student wants to transfer the school, then it is necessary that the new school is also a part of the federal Pell grant program. As long as this condition is met, the funding will continue.
